Generation Combustion offers a wide selection of non-assisted utility flare tips.

Utility flare tips are the most basic type of flare tips. Utility flare tips are used in applications that do not require smokeless combustion or they are used for combustion of gases that do not create smoke such as low carbon content gases. Utility flares tips do not utilize auxiliary streams such as steam, air and assist gas or water injection - resulting in decreased operating costs.

Generation Combustion utility flare tips utilize our Combusto-Seal built into the top of flare tip to significantly reduce purge gas flow and prevent flare tip internal burning and/or flashback. Our Combusto-Seal provides extended flare life and reduced operating and maintenance costs by preventing internal combustion at low or high gas flows.

Generation Combustion’s utility flare tips also utilize a flame retention assembly that creates a flame recirculation zone to ensure a stable flame and high efficiency combustion through the entire range of streams from purge to maximum emergency flows.

Generation Combustion’s solid flare tip windshield keeps the flame away from flare tip shell.  An air gap between flare tip shell and windshield provides cooling and allows heat to dissipate away from windshield and flare tip shell.  Our solid windshield protects the flare tip as well as pilots from destruction from the flare tip flame.

Generation Combustion offers long life utility flare tips with extremely stable and reliable electronic (spark ignited) flame front or dual ignition pilots and control systems.

Generation Combustion has the knowledge and experience to provide the most cost-effective utility flare tips for your application.

Our engineers can also provide the optimum utility flare tips technical guidance during erection and start-up.
